And there is no way to extract her from the mob….In his epic and humorous efforts to retrieve his Russian bride, Dmitri gets entangled with the mob, the FBI, The Coast Guard and US Customs, culminating in an epic battle at sea and an unrelenting search to find the right woman to fulfill his desire to become a father again.

    a fun read!
What a fun read! The misadventures of an aging widower and his quest for a New Life with a fertile, foreign female takes the reader on a hilarious and suspenseful ride.
When the first mail order prospective bride from Russia doesn’t work out, he tries again—this time from Thailand…Precious Jewel. The name says it all!
Set in the Florida Keys, this well-written tale has many twists and turns—a real page turner!.

  3. Marilyn Richards

    Many surprises in this book!
It is easy to relate to the old man’s feelings to renew himself with a new life but he is surprised by how many problems this can create.

  4. Dorothy Henson

Dmitri and his friends are fun.
This easy reading book is delightful. Ms. Weidenweber makes her Florida Keys characters come alive. I’m waiting for the next one.

  5. Jennifer & Craig Zobelein

    Intrigue in the Florida Keys
This is a thrilling tale of drama and suspense brought on by the Old Man and taking on various twists and turns as the mail-order brides impel the action. It is entertaining and actually believable. The author apparently has personal knowledge of boating in the Florida Keys, and she spins this tale with marvelous descriptive detail. The ending is perfectly satisfying!

I was very bored with it.
I didn’t read the second half, it just didn’t hold my interest. The first half was just alright, but so predictable.

  7. Mary P. Robinson

    Boring to read
Long story but boring to read. I read 40% and delete it from my Kindle. It looks not so interesting.
